Hello, I'm Niki
As a children's focused integrative counsellor I aim to build a trusting relationship with the client in a safe and supportive space in Milton Keynes .
I use a number of therapeutic techniques from a range of modalities in order to offer counselling for children, working to develop coping skills, improve their self-esteem, and build healthier relationships.
Together, we can work towards addressing any challenges your child may be facing and helping them reach their full potential.
Our counsellors are affiliated members of the BACP, a governing body for the counselling sector who develop a Code Of Ethics which our councillors adhere to in order to practice counselling therapy . By being members, you can rest assured that your counsellors have met a standard of qualification and experience in order to facilitate your counselling experience. https://www.bacp.co.uk/search/Therapists
To be a member of the BACP or NCPS, our counsellors agree to undertake a number of additional learning per year to support their practices and therefore you.
We take steps to check this upon induction to our Counselling Centre in Milton Keynes .
We also provide CPD to our affiliates to ensure they have the necessary skills to work with your area of need.
We make annual checks with all of our counsellors to ensure they have appropriate and valid insurances.
All of our counsellors have at least completed the BACP Certificate of Proficiency post qualification in order to achieve membership with that Governing Body.
We check the profiles of all other directories such as Counselling Directory, Websites and Psychology Today for continuity, and also as they have stringent onboarding processes to ensure the counsellors meet the minimum threshold of qualification and experience required to practice as a counselling therapist.
